We are profoundly shocked to report the death of Joseph Grunwell in a car accident whilst travelling to a match on Saturday representing a Crowborough Hockey Club.
He was only 16 years old. His father, Mark, played for R&G for many years and played at Holcombe until he moved away to the Crowborough area. His Uncle, Glen Grunwell, is a highly regarded member of our club.
We send our condolences to all the family at this extremely sad time. Our thoughts are with them all.
All home games at Holcombe Park on Saturday 7th November will observe a one minute silence prior to the start.
